Jan Basso BJJ

Kingdom is our community, our family, and friends.

Kingdom is you.
Kingdom is more than a place to train, it is a place to belong, to grow and to live.
It’s a place for you to follow your own path and find new goals.
It’s a place to make friends, a place where you can be yourself and be respected.

It’s not only about learning how to fight.
Kingdom is about being brave and consistent.

SCHEDULE
Jiu Jitsu is a relatively new martial art that has gained a lot of prestige and attention.
In part because of the growth of MMA.

Techniques and positions take mainly place on the ground and are therefore differentiated from most ways of fighting. Where most of the fights end (ground), it begins for us!
BJJ is a good way, for a smaller and maybe weaker fighter, to learn how to defend himself in many scenarios. This strengthens self-confidence and gives many new perspectives on life!

Jiu-Jitsu is all of that, but also much more on so many different levels.
Our mission is to spread professional Jiu Jitsu and lifestyle in Germany.

who can train bjj?
Well, we would dare to say that you (and everyone else) not only can, but also should train Jiu-Jitsu. You do not have to be especially fit, have a certain “body type”, age or anything else to train (or compete if you like to). The beautiful thing about Jiu Jitsu is that everyone can adapt and create their own way of fighting!

Just keep in mind that Jiu Jitsu is not an aggressive sport, it is an intelligent sport.
why should i train jiujitsu?
If for some reason you are still not convinced to start this chapter in your life, you would like to know that Jiujitsu:
  • Gives you more quality of life.
  • Improves your respiratory system, flexibility, and strength.
  • Assists in weight loss and resistance gain.
  • Gives you more discipline and self-control.
  • Helps you to achieve a better corporal conscience.

In addition to providing lessons on respect for others and starting various friendships through sport. Thereby, it is considered a complete modality for all factors, whether physical or mental.

It is a good alternative to learn self-defense techniques. Knowledge of the technique enables you to avoid dangerous situations without having to resort to physical violence.
why should my kid learn jiujitsu?
Jiu Jitsu classes for children aim to improve concentration, provide self-esteem, discipline and health. The practice of Jiu Jitsu goes far beyond what is learned on the mat, the discipline, and respect required reflects the child's behavior at home and at school positively. In this phase it's important that the little ones learn sense of discipline, hierarchy, and respect in a positive way, and by that learn how to deal with defeats and victories, increasing their confidence.
what should i bring for my first class?
Don't worry, everything you will need on your first day you will find in the gym.
Just come in sport clothes, and don't forget to stay hydrated.

If you have any other questions after your first class, we, and everyone in our team, will be more than happy to help you out!
